“For a company managing 120 media operations, such an investment is highly encouraging,” said Subotić, emphasizing that sustainability is becoming crucial across all business sectors, including the media industry.
Subotić highlighted that production and the media sector are energy-intensive, especially with the rapid development of technologies such as artificial intelligence and advanced production tools.
“We know that production and the media sector, of course, consume a lot. Therefore, green energy is something we are truly excited about. I’m very grateful that our creative industry will also be supported by this investment,” said Aleksandra Subotić.
As a reminder, United Group has announced a €120 million investment in four renewable energy projects in Bulgaria, including three solar power plants and one wind farm. The projects are part of the company’s broader initiative to reduce its carbon footprint and support sustainable development.
